About Gardens Care Homestead

Established in 1996, Gardens Care Homestead's mission remains to provide a relaxed style of living in beautiful Lakewood, Colorado. We are committed to the quality of service that allows you the peace of mind to enjoy the beauty of where you live.

Rather than larger intimidating common areas, Gardens Care Homestead has two intimate dining rooms with gas-burning fireplaces, as well as a private dining room, a cozy library and music room, a community room with a large screen television, a barber shop and beauty salon. Situated between the cottages and the hacienda is a lovely flagstone courtyard complete with a fountain. Gardens Care Homestead is situated on 4.5 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds.

Gardens Care Homestead’s facilities include the two-story main Hacienda and red-roof cottages. The Homestead facilities are mobility accessible. With two dining rooms complete with fireplaces, community rooms with big-screen televisions and beautiful decor. Gardens Care Homestead welcomes all guests and residents, and with an on-site barber and salon, and health and wellness activities. Gardens Care Homestead also provides the ability to feel your best and most beautiful. 

All units and cottages are routinely upgraded to continue to provide residents with the premier experience. Respite apartments are available.

Emergency Assistance

Gardens Care Homestead employs 24-hour staff to ensure that no matter the time of day or night, assistance is available. There are also state-of-the-art emergency call systems in each unit and cottage. 

Security

At Gardens Care Homestead, we understand that security is a huge aspect of life, no matter where you are. Gardens Care Homestead’s property is fenced with one entrance/exit to ensure that only Homestead employees, community members and resident's guests have access to the property. Gardens Care Homestead also has a state-of-the-art emergency call system in every cottage and apartment. 

Independence 

At Gardens Care Homestead, our independent-living, red-roof cottages allow for appropriate, convenient and discreet support; provided by a highly-trained and experienced staff. We understand that everyone needs a little help sometimes, and with a 24-hour staff, assistance is always available. 

Social Life

Whether you choose assisted or independent living, Gardens Care Homestead offers the warm company of peers; and frequent social, cultural, fitness and entertainment events.

Dining

No one likes eating alone, and at Gardens Care Homestead, you do not have to. While most units have kitchenettes, the two large dining rooms allow Gardens Care Homestead residents to dine with neighbors and table service. Meals are freshly prepared daily with accommodations for special diets

Transportation

Gardens Care Homestead is committed to the whole well-being of its residents and provides scheduled car or bus service that is always available for appointments and outings. 

Housekeeping

At the Gardens Care Homestead there is no need to worry about housekeeping and maintenance. Linen service and maintenance are provided by professional staff, and housekeeping is available.
